Paolo Cesana is President of Cesanamedia.
Born in Milan in 1964, Paolo Cesana commenced his career in advertising media sales at the age of twenty. In 1994, he started his own company based in Milan as exclusive representative of Rolling Stone, published in United States. In the following years he acquired the representation for the Italian market of various prestigious magazines published in United States and Europe. The year 1999 was a turning point: Cesanamedia started to represent The New York Times, the first newspaper within the media offer, and also launched the out- of- home division for luxury Italian brands. In the following years the media portfolio grew larger adding several important publications in the main international markets. Today under Paolo Cesana’s leadership, Cesanamedia continues its expansion representing a pool of international top-tier media partners, maintaining premium positioning and innovative services.
Cristiana Catizone is serving as Chief Revenue Office; appointed from within in mid 2017, she gathered consistent company knowledge and market expertise, adding further responsibilities to her understanding of the commercial business
Cristiana Catizone launched her career within international advertising in 1996 at the London HQ of Publieurope - the international sales division of Mediaset Group and Mondadori - before commencing her longstanding career at Cesanamedia in 2004. From Fashion Account Manager, in charge of a relevant group of key fashion accounts, she was then appointed Senior Group Manager for fashion and luxury advertising division. Embracing the entire client portfolio, in 2016 she was promoted Commercial Director, responsible for overseeing all commercial business units: fashion, design and corporate.
Antonella Caporale has been serving as Fashion Commercial Director, since September 2016. She oversees the entire Fashion division in Cesanamedia. Moreover, she has recently taken on responsability at director level on brand content and social media commercial projects.
She commenced her experience in Cesanamedia in 2011, appointed as Fashion Account Manager. Driven by passion and focused on attaining ambitious goals, she has progressively grown the expertise within the luxury business, dealing with Cesanamedia top luxury clients and collaborating with them on multifaceted communication projects. After graduating in Economics at Bocconi University, Antonella started her career in marketing and communication in a record label, she then approached the Publishing world in 2006 working for Condé Nast International, and was directly involved in the launch of the Russian editions of Tatler and Architectural Digest.
Marcella Biggi is serving as Design Commercial Director; appointed at the beginning of 2014, she oversees the design and furniture business in Cesanamedia.
She started her collaboration with Cesanamedia in 2007 with the responsibility of developing business of both fashion and design categories. Passionate about design, in 2010 she was promoted to Senior Design Account Manager focusing only on design accounts. Graduated in International Communication at the University in Perugia, she completed her training in Marketing and Communication in London.
Paolo Mongeri is serving as Commercial Director of the Corporate Department; which includes, food and beverage, tourism, technology and energy among others.
Mongeri’s consolidated experience in advertising spans over 30 years. His longstanding career at Cesanamedia commenced in 1999 within the Commercial Department where he covered key roles; from Area Manager of Magazines to Commercial Director of Design Unit. His reputable professional expertise within the panorama of international media relations includes a profound knowledge of the Brazilian market where Mongeri resided for several years.
Mauro Rotella recently joined Cesanamedia as Head of Digital, a newly created position.
Mauro’s career developed in a digitally focused professional contexts within various luxury markets. He had previously collaborated with intarget: and Adacto, both digital agencies. Mauro has specific skills and expertise in digital strategies for fashion brands. Within intarget: he has consolidated his career, going from Digital Media Planner to Media Director. He has directly managed and supervised all digital campaigns for Ermenegildo Zegna, Cucinelli, Moncler, Mandarina Duck, Marni, Patrizia Pepe and Illy. Mauro fully masters direct relationship with the client with an advisory approach both on a tactical level and on medium-long term strategies.
